We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Repair Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of household and commercial appliances. This role requires technical proficiency, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, and dishwashers. Effectively communicate with customers to explain the nature of the appliance malfunction, the repair process, and provide accurate cost estimates and timeframes. Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all installation, maintenance, and repair work. Replace or repair faulty components, including motors, switches, belts, and wiring, using a variety of hand and power tools. Maintain accurate records of all service calls, including parts used and services provided. Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest appliance technology, repair techniques, and industry advancements.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Frequent travel to customer homes and businesses. Requires standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds on a regular basis. Work may expose technicians to a variety of environmental conditions, including unheated/uncooled areas.
