This role assists technicians with inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, tools and parts preparation, equipment testing, service documentation, and professional customer assistance. Responsibilities Assist technicians with inspecting household appliances to identify repair and service needs. Support basic troubleshooting and appliance diagnostics under technician guidance. Assist with appliance repairs, maintenance, installations, and service calls. Prepare tools, replacement parts, equipment, and materials for scheduled jobs. Safely use basic hand tools and service equipment as instructed. Assist with removing, replacing, and installing appliance components. Follow established repair procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and workplace safety practices. Help test appliances after service to verify proper operation. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Handle tools, parts, equipment, and customer property carefully and professionally. Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing service equipment and materials. Communicate parts, equipment, and service needs to technicians or supervisors. Help document completed service work and record repair-related information accurately. Provide courteous assistance to customers during residential service visits. Help organize inventory of tools, replacement parts, and service supplies. Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or unexpected service conditions promptly.
