KWR Appliances is a family-owned used-appliance business serving the Greenville area. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on part-time team member to help prepare appliances for sale, assist customers, support deliveries and service work, and help with our growing eBay appliance-parts business. This is a varied position for someone who enjoys practical work and does not want to perform the same task all day. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with customers and computers, and takes pride in doing the job correctly. Responsibilities Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair used household appliances Clean and prepare appliances for the sales floor Help load, deliver, install, and remove appliances from customers' homes Assist customers in selecting appliances Perform basic warranty repairs and occasional service calls Keep the warehouse, work areas, tools, and appliances organized Accurately record completed work and appliance information Assist with identifying, organizing, and preparing used appliance parts for sale on eBay Photograph appliance parts and record part numbers, model numbers, and other identifying information Research appliance parts and comparable eBay listings to help determine appropriate pricing Create and maintain accurate eBay listings or listing drafts Package and prepare sold eBay parts for shipment Help maintain organized eBay parts inventory, storage locations, and shipping supplies Help with other daily store, warehouse, and online-sales responsibilities as needed Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to work without constant supervision Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills Appliance-repair, maintenance, HVAC, electrical, automotive, or similar experience is preferred Comfortable using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment Comfortable using computers, smartphones, websites, and online selling platforms eBay, online sales, parts inventory, shipping, or e-commerce experience is helpful but not required Able to accurately identify and record model numbers, part numbers, and inventory information Friendly and professional when working with customers Able to safely lift and move heavy appliances with assistance and proper equipment Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Able to pass any required background or driving-record checks Willing to learn KWR Appliances' testing, repair, delivery, customer-service, eBay, and inventory procedures Schedule This is a part-time position.
