YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN APPLIANCE TECHNICIAN

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key component in providing an exceptional service experience by delivering high quality maintenance and repair services for our customers' appliances throughout the greater Austin area. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair appliances and equipment in customers' homes and businesses Provide clear, honest cost estimates for repairs before work begins Effectively communicate with the customer so they understand the services needed and why Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials and inventory Collect payment for work performed on site

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED

Exceptional Customer Service — You are the face of Mr. Appliance of Austin. You show empathy toward the customer and accurately diagnose and solve their problem so they can get back to running an efficient household. Diagnosis to Solution — You don't just explain what's wrong, you help the customer understand what needs to be done so their issue gets resolved quickly. Quality of Work — This role requires critical thinking and problem solving so our customers are satisfied and the job gets fixed correctly the first time. Efficiency — You manage your time and repair speed so you can take care of every customer on your schedule for the day. Punctuality & Reliability — Our customers are counting on you. Showing up on time and being available is how we deliver a great experience. Pride in the Details — You keep your work vehicle clean and organized, and you take care completing customer paperwork and reports. Ongoing Training — New appliances and features come out all the time. You're willing to keep learning through the Mr. Appliance Academy and other training opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent Valid Texas driver's license (or ability to obtain one) and a clean driving record At least one year of previous experience in appliance repair or a similar field Must be authorized to work in the United States

BENEFITS & PAY

Pay:

$25 - $60 per hour, commission based, depending on experience and performance. No nights and limited weekends.
