About the Role As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as a vital problem-solver, diagnosing and restoring functionality to essential home appliances. You will act as a trusted expert for homeowners, utilizing your mechanical aptitude to ensure their household systems run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Travel to various residential locations to perform high-quality diagnostics and repairs on refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and microwaves. Deliver an exceptional service experience that builds customer trust and provides value-added solutions for home maintenance. Maintain a high standard of operational efficiency by managing an organized service vehicle and optimizing parts inventory. Utilize mobile technology to access technical documentation, order necessary components, and streamline the repair process. Ensure all repairs meet rigorous quality standards to guarantee long-term appliance performance and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members and mentors to continuously refine technical skills and stay current with industry advancements. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automatic transmission vehicle. EPA Type I or Universal certification. Proven mechanical aptitude and experience using specialized diagnostic and repair tools. Physical capability to lift up to 50-100 lbs and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and climbing. Proficiency with smartphone applications and digital communication tools. Preferred Skills 1-2 years of professional experience in appliance repair or a related field. Strong background in troubleshooting complex electrical or mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to follow technical manuals and complex service procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional client interaction.
