As the HVAC Install Technician at MacLellan, you are part of Best People. You will learn and utilize our Best Systems to install, replace, and commission commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems. You will work with a variety of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, as well as associated electrical, mechanical, and control systems. You will work closely with our team and customers to ensure equipment is installed according to specifications, manufacturer requirements, and MacLellan's standards, producing Best Results. What are the HVAC Install Technician skills necessary for success? Excellent verbal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications, installation instructions, and mechanical drawings. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Commitment to following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC installation equipment. What HVAC Install Technician experience is needed for success? 2-3 years of progressive, professional experience installing, replacing, or working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems and equipment preferred. Experience with commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, refrigeration, and associated mechanical systems preferred. EPA 608 Certification is preferred. HVAC trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training is a plus. Valid driver's license. What can you expect in return for your commitment to MacLellan? Pre-Employment Drug Testing Notification and Policy:
After a conditional offer of employment, all job applicants at MacLellan Integrated Services will undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs. Applicants will be required to submit voluntarily to a urine specimen test at a laboratory chosen by the Company. Any applicant who refuses to submit to a drug test or is suspected by the lab to have tampered with the specimen will not be considered for employment. Prior to testing, an applicant will be given the opportunity to list all prescription drugs used and their purpose. All legal drugs found in a drug test result will be verified by a Medical Review Officer (MRO), who will verify that prescriptions are valid and being used at the prescribed amounts and that said amounts are reflected appropriately in the urine. Any applicant with a confirmed positive test will be denied employment.
Post-Employment Drug Testing:
All employees can be drug tested randomly, upon suspicion, post-accident or any other purpose allowed by law.
