Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Residential Installer to help lead our team and train junior installers. As a leader in the field, you will oversee installation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Gas Furnaces, Minisplits, and Ductwork. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise system setup and integration. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; troubleshoot equipment problems efficiently. Perform HVAC system repairs, maintenance, and upgrades with a focus on mechanical systems repair and electrical diagnostics. Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards (including EPA regulations), and manufacturer specifications. Supervise and mentor junior installers; coordinate field service activities to meet project timelines. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, schematics updates, and safety logs. Qualifications Proven HVAC experience with a strong background in HVAC system installation and repair. Service technician experience in HVAC/R or related mechanical systems is highly preferred. Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and building automation systems. Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing equipment (such as ohmmeters), and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and property maintenance practices. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid van driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to safely operate company vehicle in various conditions. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
