Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across various properties. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and comfort for clients. As an HVAC Technician, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and technical skills to troubleshoot, install, and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related systems. Your proactive approach will help keep facilities running smoothly while providing exceptional service that makes a real difference. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new HVAC equipment following design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Conduct plumbing and appliance repairs related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant charging and ammonia refrigeration handling. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical components and mechanical parts effectively. Read and interpret HVAC design plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise repairs or installations. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed on property systems. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems. Knowledge of construction practices, schematics reading, and HVAC design principles. Mechanical knowledge including plumbing, refrigeration, boiler operation, welding, and equipment repair. Hands-on experience with field service operations involving appliance repair and property maintenance. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Ability to operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in welding, boiler management, and general maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
