Job Summary Join our team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the comfort and safety of residential and commercial environments. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical system troubleshooting. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to ensure precise installation and repairs. Perform equipment troubleshooting on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems to identify faults quickly and accurately. Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan while minimizing downtime. Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools to perform repairs or modifications as needed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering effective solutions for property maintenance needs. Requirements Proven construction experience combined with service technician background in HVAC or related mechanical fields. Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and schematics Experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings. Mechanical knowledge of plumbing and electrical diagnostics Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters or specialized HVAC testing devices. Hands-on experience with HVAC equipment repair including air conditioning units, furnaces, mini splits and duct work Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Relevant certifications such as EPA certification for refrigerants; experience with electrical systems and property maintenance is preferred. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service; ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments. Common sense, humility and great time management skills are a must.
