Residential HVAC Tune-Up & Replacement Technician Salary:

$36,000-$40,000 per year, depending on experience and licensing

Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC experience About the Position Our Weatherization and Energy Efficiency Company is looking for a certified HVAC Tune-Up & Replacement Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential HVAC service, preventative maintenance, system diagnostics, and equipment replacement . We are seeking someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, provides excellent customer service, and is comfortable working independently in residential homes. Experience with the Entergy Solutions Tune-Up Program is highly preferred and would make a candidate an ideal fit for this position. Experience with iManifol gauges and utility rebate programs is a huge plus. DAILY Responsibilities (Performed at NO COST to our customer base) Primary Daily performance of performance residential HVAC tune-ups, preventative maintenance, and system inspections. Daily installation of Smart thermostats through residential utility rebate programs Diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions. Occasional Responsibilities (Performed at cost) Perform HVAC equipment replacements when necessary. Properly install and replace residential heating and cooling equipment. Identify system inefficiencies and opportunities to improve comfort and energy efficiency. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and professionally to homeowners. Maintain accurate service and installation documentation. Follow company safety procedures and industry standards. Provide professional, courteous service while working in customers' homes Scheduling Work a flexible 40 hour weekly schedule, including every other Saturday No Sunday work unless you are personally requesting overtime Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC experience. HVAC certification and/or applicable licensing required. Hands-on experience with residential HVAC tune-ups and preventative maintenance. Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting residential HVAC systems. Ability to perform residential HVAC replacements when required. Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, components, and installation practices. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to work every other weekend. Experience with the Energy Solutions Tune-Up Program is highly preferred. Must have active drivers license Must have felony free background Compensation & Benefits $36,000-$40,000 annual salary , based on experience and licensing. Quarterly Bonus available for staff members contributing to high production. 40 hours of paid vacation. (After 90 days) Free dental insurance. The Ideal Candidate The ideal technician is experienced, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable handling both HVAC tune-ups and complete residential system replacements .
