Description:
HVAC Chiller Technician - Commercial Service Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ | Up to $48.00/hour DOE Midstate Mechanical LLC is looking for an experienced HVAC Chiller Technician to join our Commercial Service team. We're looking for a technician who knows commercial chiller systems, can confidently diagnose complex equipment issues, and takes pride in getting systems operating correctly the first time. What You'll Do Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial chillers and chilled-water systems . Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control-system issues. Service air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated equipment . Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, control sequences, and technical documentation. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, system testing, and operational checks. Identify equipment failures and recommend appropriate repairs or replacement solutions. Assist with system startup and commissioning activities as required. Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment condition, repairs, and system performance. Accurately document service work using tablets, smartphones, and service software. Follow Midstate Mechanical and applicable jobsite safety requirements. What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred. Strong hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting commercial chillers and chilled-water systems . Advanced understanding of refrigeration cycles, compressors, electrical systems, controls, pumps, and heat-transfer systems. Ability to independently troubleshoot complex HVAC and chiller problems. Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer technical documentation. EPA 608 Universal Certification required. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in demanding commercial service environments.
Pay & Benefits Pay:
