Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of equipment across various property types. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC/R equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans. Conduct plumbing repairs and mechanical maintenance on various property systems to ensure operational integrity. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components efficiently. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform appliance repairs and property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment. Operate a vehicle safely for field service visits while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate effectively with clients regarding repair status. Support team efforts in equipment repair, welding projects, boiler servicing, and general maintenance tasks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, boilers, and mechanical components. Skilled in reading schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, appliance repair, and field service operations. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting. Experience working with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, boilers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating large or specialized vehicles preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members clearly and professionally.
