Job Description

Position Overview JVL Property Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with verified HVAC certification to support maintenance operations at our property in Sierra Vista, AZ. This role is critical in ensuring all service requests and unit turns are handled efficiently to maintain property standards and resident satisfaction. We are looking for a hands-on professional with multifamily maintenance experience who can work with urgency, deliver quality results, and support overall property performance. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Perform maintenance and repairs including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building upkeep Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently with minimal supervision HVAC (Primary Requirement) Handle HVAC maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting Ensure all HVAC systems are functioning properly and maintained to standard Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements Work Orders & Service Requests Respond to and complete service requests in a timely and professional manner Prioritize urgent and emergency maintenance issues Accurately document all work completed Unit Turns Prepare vacant units for new tenants efficiently (repairs, inspections, readiness) Ensure units are rent-ready within required timelines Property Upkeep Maintain cleanliness and condition of common areas and grounds Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs Team Coordination Work closely with Property Manager and team to ensure smooth operations Assist with vendor coordination when necessary Qualifications Verified HVAC certification (required) Proven experience in multifamily maintenance Strong ability to handle service requests and unit turns efficiently Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Preferred Traits Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Responsive and able to work with urgency Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Committed to maintaining high property standards Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, on-site role May require occasional on-call availability for emergencies Why Join JVL Property Management?
