Residential HVAC Service Technician / Installer Full-Time | Salary + Commission | Benefits | Take-Home Vehicle We're a growing residential HVAC company looking for an experienced technician who can do more than just turn a wrench. We need someone who is comfortable diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems, communicating with homeowners, presenting repair and replacement options, and assisting with or completing equipment installations when needed. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC equipment Perform maintenance and system evaluations Communicate findings clearly and professionally with homeowners Identify repair, indoor air quality, and equipment replacement opportunities Build and present repair and replacement options Generate accurate estimates and document work thoroughly Install or assist with installation of residential HVAC equipment when needed Perform startup, commissioning, and quality-control procedures Maintain accurate customer and job documentation in ServiceTitan Participate in an on-call rotation with the rest of the service team Help maintain company standards for workmanship, communication, and customer experience What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced HVAC professional who understands that being a great technician requires both technical ability and communication skills. You should be comfortable working independently in a customer's home, diagnosing the entire system instead of simply replacing parts, explaining what you found, and helping the customer understand their options. Experience with residential equipment installation is important. Because we are a smaller company, everyone occasionally helps where they are needed. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience Residential HVAC installation experience Experience presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to document service calls thoroughly Professional appearance and customer-service skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal Certification required Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation Compensation This position is structured differently from many traditional HVAC service positions. We offer a guaranteed salary plus commission opportunities , giving you dependable income while still rewarding performance.
