Immediate Career Strategies is hiring a full-time HVAC-Certified Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Tucson, AZ . We are looking for a dependable, experienced apartment maintenance professional with strong HVAC and general maintenance skills who is ready to start immediately. Job Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, HVAC service, repairs, and upkeep of the apartment community while helping ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents. Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems Perform HVAC preventative maintenance Perform apartment make-readies and unit turns Troubleshoot and complete plumbing repairs Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting Diagnose and repair common household appliances Complete drywall repairs, painting, and touch-ups Perform basic carpentry and general property repairs Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the property Maintain clean and safe work areas Communicate professionally with residents and property management Help maintain a high level of resident satisfaction Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned Qualifications 1-2 years of apartment/multifamily maintenance experience required HVAC certification required Strong HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance experience Experience with apartment turns, make-readies, and work orders Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and general repairs CPO certification is a plus Must have basic maintenance tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team Must be authorized to work in the United States Must successfully complete a thorough background screening Career Strategies is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
