Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a LICENSED and highly skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical knowledge and field service experience to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of compressors, condensers, watertowers, refrigeration, plumbing, and equipment repair to ensure optimal climate control solutions. understanding boiler systems as well. . The technician will play a vital role in maintaining property comfort and operational efficiency through expert service and maintenance Of our commercial HVAC systems in 10 commercial buildings Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical equipment Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify issues proactively and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as refrigerant lines, condensate drainage, and associated piping And coil repairs Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and ensure proper functioning of all components. Repair or replace mechanical parts including motors, compressors, valves, and wiring in HVAC/R equipment. Conduct welding or other mechanical repairs as needed to maintain system integrity. Maintain detailed service records for all work performed and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status or required upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities including handling ammonia refrigeration or other hazardous materials. Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to enhance overall property performance. Skills Proven experience as a service technician with a solid background in HVAC/R systems. Strong knowledge of construction principles related to HVAC installation projects. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with HVAC design principles and system layout planning. Experience with plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), and appliance repair is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge encompassing equipment repair, maintenance procedures, welding techniques, boiler operation, and general property maintenance. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Ability to operate field service equipment efficiently in diverse environments. Additional skills such as mechanic experience or expertise in HVAC/R systems will be considered advantageous.
