Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design specifications Perform system troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC/R equipment, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical components Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults and ensure proper system operation Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, repairs, and maintenance activities for each project Interpret technical schematics and building automation system diagrams to ensure precise installation and service Perform routine HVAC system maintenance to optimize efficiency and extend equipment lifespan Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, addressing client concerns, and ensuring satisfaction during all interactions Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong mechanical background in HVAC installation and repair Service technician experience with HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and ventilation equipment Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, plumbing systems, and building automation systems Hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical testing devices (such as ohmmeters), and equipment troubleshooting techniques Mechanical knowledge related to mechanical systems repair and HVAC system maintenance Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely EPA certification or equivalent for refrigerant handling is required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; familiarity with electrical systems is essential Willingness to work in various environments requiring physical activity such as climbing ladders or working in confined spaces Join us to make a difference by installing reliable HVAC solutions that enhance comfort and energy efficiency.
