Is this you? Experienced in residential and light commercial installs? Confident with heat pumps, air handlers, and 120V/240V wiring? Skilled at designing and installing duct systems? Organized, safety-minded, and customer-focused? Role Snapshot Follow company policies and manufacturer specifications to install HVAC equipment.
Install or replace systems:
ductwork, attic/vertical splits (gas or heat pump), and rooftop package units. Design duct layouts that maximize comfort and energy efficiency. Run low- and high-voltage wiring for heating/cooling equipment. Braze and solder copper refrigerant lines for A/C systems. Install flex and sheet metal ducting in homes and light commercial buildings. Safely connect gas lines to heating equipment. Pre-measure each job to verify the right materials and equipment. Receive, confirm, and load materials and equipment into a company vehicle. Team up to deliver projects on time and to quality standards. Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly. Perform equipment readings and interpret them correctly. Maintain a clean, professional company vehicle. Perform other related tasks as directed by management. What You'll Need to Succeed 3+ years of HVAC installation experience. High School Diploma or GED; EPA certification is a bonus. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work safely in a physical role. Expertise with heat pumps, air handlers, 120V/240V electrical, and ductwork installs. Insulation experience preferred (not mandatory). Mechanical aptitude and strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals. Self-motivated; effective working solo or with a crew. Clear verbal and written communication. Excellent troubleshooting and customer service orientation. Valid California Driver's License pursuant to company policy.
