Job Title:
Modular HVAC and Facilities Maintenance Technician! Job Description Join our team as a Modular Building Construction and HVAC Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in the construction, repair, and maintenance of modular buildings and containers. Your expertise in AC systems, electrical work, and construction will ensure quality repairs and refurbishment of modular office trailers and other structures. Responsibilities Perform construction and maintenance tasks including framing, finish carpentry, electrical work, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, and running gear repairs on modular buildings. Execute quality repairs, refurbishment, check-in, and modification of all modular buildings and containers. Conduct clean-up, painting, and inspections of work areas to maintain a high standard of quality. Handle custom build-outs and framing for buildings as instructed. Measure and cut baseboards, tear out carpet, clean floors, and install doors. Work with AC units and ensure all tasks are completed to specification. Essential Skills Strong construction and maintenance experience. Proficient in AC systems with strong electrical knowledge. Skilled in reading and interpreting measuring tapes. Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in painting, general labor, carpentry, and measuring. Ability to work independently, with dedication and curiosity. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position involves physical demands such as walking, standing, bending, stretching, and lifting items up to 60 pounds. The role requires working in covered yard areas, conducting repairs to prepare modular offices for rental. The normal shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, but be prepared for overtime from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, and working Monday through Saturday after Thanksgiving. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
