Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and HVAC design plans to execute projects accurately. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools to identify system faults efficiently. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Provide exceptional customer service by assessing client needs, explaining technical solutions clearly, and recommending appropriate HVAC products or upgrades. Assist in the sales process by presenting product options, preparing estimates, and closing sales opportunities with professionalism. Maintain accurate records of service activities, equipment repairs, system installations, and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance and quality standards. Skills Service technician - entry-level in HVAC systems. Sales experience Mechanical knowledge including training on electrical systems diagnostics, refrigeration principles, and building automation systems. Training with HVAC system repair, installation, maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; ability to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with equipment repair is highly valued. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications related to HVAC or plumbing are advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation of tools and equipment.
