Job Description

Overview:
So-Cal Heating & Air is a family owned HVAC company for 35+ years. We are seeking dedicated and experienced HVAC Installers to join our skilled team. In this position, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, exceptional technical skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems according to blueprint designs and manufacturer specifications. Duct and sheet metal installation; refrigeration, copper, pipefitting, brazing. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete installations within agreed timelines. Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system malfunctions and issues. Adhere to all safety protocols and local building codes while on the job. Communicate effectively with clients to assess their HVAC needs and provide tailored recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Qualifications 5 years HVAC experience preferred. Proven experience in construction or service technician roles within HVAC or related mechanical fields. Strong knowledge of HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance procedures. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams with ease. Experience with HVAC design principles, building automation systems, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration, and boiler operations is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Mechanical knowledge of complex systems repair including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R are a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; experience as a van driver preferred. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
