About Us We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read, study, and interpret system blueprints, project mechanical drawings, specifications, and performance data to determine the proper configuration and purpose of the system's components. Collect and tabulate system test data and make field observations and recommendations. Create detailed reports, checklists, and documentation of test results and report any issues with the accompanying and supporting documentation. The technician will need to have proficiency in working with HVAC and mechanical systems and related sub-components of all types. Testing the performance of air and hydronic systems using tools and specialized test equipment. Mathematical proficiency is necessary for completing basic and advanced equations associated with Air and Hydronic balancing. In this role, the TABB Technician will travel to different project locations as required. Will work independently and or as part of a team. Qualifications High School and/or GED Equivalent. A mechanical engineering degree is a plus. Journeyman-level experience with HVAC systems 3 + years of TABB industry experience. TABB, NEBB, or AABC Certification required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Proficiency in Bluebeam or Adobe Pro is ideal. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations Strong oral and written communication skills. Respectful, professional demeanor while upholding organizational values. Must be able to frequently perform strenuous physical activity including but not limited to standing for eight or more hours at a time, lifting up to 50 lbs., moving in unstable work conditions, working in adverse weather, handling and working on overhead equipment. Geographic Disclosure Compensation Range:
$48.41 - $56.95 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
