What's in it for You? $30.00 - $75.00 per hour, based on experience Overtime opportunities available Company vehicle provided for field service work Gas card provided Company phone provided Tool account available Medical insurance with 100% employee coverage and 75% dependent coverage Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement benefits Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid holidays Paid Time Off (negotiable starting balance) Progressive pay increases for earning additional certifications and expanding technical expertise Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, and advanced control systems Stable, year-round work supporting essential customer operations Relocation assistance considered on a case-by-case basis Why You'll Love It Here Work alongside experienced refrigeration professionals who value quality workmanship and technical excellence Gain specialized experience in ammonia refrigeration systems while receiving cross-training and development opportunities Take ownership of projects from diagnosis through completion Build strong customer relationships and become a trusted technical resource Develop expertise with compressors, refrigeration controls, system commissioning, industrial equipment, and automated control systems Team-focused environment that values reliability, accountability, safety, and continuous learning Clear opportunities to increase earnings through certifications and skill development Your New Role Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and ammonia refrigeration systems Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues using specialized testing and diagnostic equipment Repair and maintain reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors Perform compressor rebuilds, shaft seal replacements, and motor alignments Install and service expansion valves, control valves, and other refrigeration components Install wiring and connect refrigeration equipment to electrical power sources Test refrigeration systems, piping, and components for leaks Perform startup, commissioning, and optimization of ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems Troubleshoot refrigeration control panels, PLCs, microprocessors, and automated control systems Travel to customer sites and respond to service calls as needed Maintain accurate work orders, service documentation, timecards, and customer records using SimPRO Generate purchase orders and manage truck stock inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects safely and efficiently
Hiring Expectations:

Minimum 2 to 3 years of HVACR, commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, or related experience Trade school education or equivalent hands-on experience preferred EPA 608 Certification required Universal EPA Certification preferred or ability to obtain within the first three months of employment Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred but not required CERO certification preferred but not required Experience troubleshooting refrigeration systems, compressors, motors, controls, and electrical components Ability to perform compressor repairs, alignments, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance Experience using electrical and mechanical diagnostic equipment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call schedules as needed Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to refrigeration systems, machinery, and varying weather conditions Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills TDI Refrigeration is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
