Superior Skilled Trades is seeking HVAC Installer/Mechanics for an immediate start in the Lathrop, CA area.
FULL TIME PAY
$45/hour (based upon experience) $100 Per Diem available (For those that qualify
HOURS:
70-80+/HRS a week

Workdays will be Monday-Saturday; 5AM-5:00 PM (overtime available)

• Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems across diverse property environments. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and install a wide range of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe, and sustainable indoor environments while supporting property maintenance operations. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify faults in electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems. Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems and ensure proper operation of ammonia refrigeration units where applicable. Utilize welding skills for equipment repair or modifications; perform mechanical systems repair with precision. Maintain compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing necessary certifications. Assist with property maintenance tasks involving HVAC/R equipment, including routine inspections and emergency repairs. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service calls across multiple sites. Support building automation system adjustments to optimize environmental controls and energy use. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation or repair projects. Service technician experience working on HVAC/R systems in commercial or residential settings. Strong understanding of schematics, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical knowledge. Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles and mechanical systems repair techniques. Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) for climate control management. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively; welding skills are advantageous. Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, appliances, pumps, motors, and other mechanical components. Experience in property maintenance or facility management roles involving air conditioning systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
