Overview We are seeking a motivated Residential HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties. Your expertise will help ensure our customers enjoy comfortable, efficient indoor environments while supporting our commitment to quality service and safety. Duties Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and related mechanical components according to schematics and design specifications Perform system troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on HVAC equipment, including wiring and control systems Use hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other mechanical tools to complete installations and repairs accurately Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute precise installations Diagnose issues with refrigeration systems, boilers, ammonia refrigeration units, and building automation systems Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance tips to clients Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong background in mechanical systems repair and installation Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields such as plumbing or property maintenance Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and electrical systems Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and building automation controls Familiarity with electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters; skilled in equipment troubleshooting Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system design, maintenance procedures, and equipment repair techniques Experience with hand tools, welding equipment, and basic appliance repair is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred EPA certification for refrigerants; additional certifications in ammonia refrigeration or electrical systems are advantageous Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to field service work Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
