Job Description

A well-established HVAC company serving the Los Angeles area is hiring Residential and Commercial HVAC Installers, Foremen, and Helpers. We specialize in residential and commercial air conditioning and heating systems, HVAC installation, maintenance, repair, cleaning, consulting, and commercial HVAC services. We are looking for dependable, hardworking HVAC professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Candidates should be comfortable working safely, following industry standards, and keeping up with current HVAC technologies, rules, and regulations. Depending on experience and qualifications, candidates may be considered for HVAC Helper, HVAC Installer, Residential HVAC Foreman, or Commercial HVAC Foreman positions. Pay $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Pay will be based on experience, technical skills, position, and qualifications. Residential HVAC Foreman Requirements Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience. Must have proper tools for the job. Experience installing Lennox split systems. Experience installing rooftop package units. Experience with ductless split systems. Knowledge of basic thermostat wiring, programming, and system startup. Skilled in copper welding/brazing and flare nut connections. Ability to flush copper lines, perform vacuum procedures, and add refrigerant. Experience with flexible, sheet metal, and spiral ductwork. Experience with drain piping, gas piping, and flue vents, including sheet metal double-wall and PVC systems. Ability to communicate effectively with sales representatives, homeowners, and warehouse personnel. Ability to lead installation work and coordinate with other members of the installation team. Strong attention to safety, workmanship, and job quality. Residential HVAC Helper Requirements Must be able to speak and understand basic English conversation. Minimum 1 year of residential HVAC installation experience. Must have proper tools. Experience installing flexible ductwork, T-Ys, dampers, and boot boxes. Ability to communicate effectively with the foreman. Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Willingness to learn HVAC installation techniques and procedures. Dependable and punctual. Commercial HVAC Foreman Requirements Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC installation experience. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Must have proper tools for the job. Experience installing various types of split systems. Experience installing rooftop package units. Experience with ductless split systems. Knowledge of basic thermostat wiring, programming, and system startup. Skilled in copper welding/brazing and flare nut connections. Ability to flush copper lines, perform vacuum procedures, and add refrigerant. Experience with flexible, sheet metal, and spiral ductwork. Experience installing fire dampers, smoke/fire dampers, and duct smoke detectors. Experience with drain piping, gas piping, and flue vents, including sheet metal double-wall and PVC systems. Ability to coordinate with the sheet metal shop and warehouse. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to lead crews and maintain quality and safety standards on commercial projects. Ability to understand project requirements and coordinate installation activities. Commercial HVAC Helper Requirements Must be able to speak and understand basic English conversation. Minimum 1 year of commercial HVAC installation experience. Must have proper tools. Experience installing spiral, sheet metal, and flexible ductwork. Experience with T-Ys, dampers, and boot boxes. Ability to communicate effectively with the foreman. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Preferred Experience HVAC installation:
1 year or more preferred. Residential HVAC installation experience. Commercial HVAC installation experience. Split-system installation. Rooftop package units. Ductless mini-split systems. Ductwork installation. Copper brazing and refrigerant line installation. Thermostat wiring and system startup. Gas, drain, and flue piping. Blueprint reading for commercial positions. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Relevant HVAC training, certifications, or technical education is a plus. Candidates should be comfortable working in different environments, including rooftops, mechanical areas, attics, crawl spaces, and construction/job sites. Physical requirements may include standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting HVAC equipment/materials, and working in confined or elevated areas. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
