This is a full-time position requiring frequent travel to commercial and construction job sites throughout the United States. The technician will perform HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and electrical/control-system work. Candidates with experience in commercial HVAC, industrial chillers, air-cooled or water-cooled cooling systems, data center cooling systems, or refrigeration equipment are encouraged to apply. Chinese-English bilingual candidates are preferred due to communication needs with engineers, project teams, and job-site personnel. Responsibilities Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and cooling systems. Perform routine maintenance on chillers and HVAC equipment , including commercial and industrial cooling systems. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC system failures. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controls, sensors, and other components associated with HVAC equipment. Diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, and control-system problems. Replace common HVAC components such as sensors, water pumps, fans, valves, and related parts . Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC control diagrams. Measure and check voltage, current, continuity, and other basic electrical parameters using appropriate test equipment. Use basic electrical testing tools, including multimeters and other diagnostic equipment. Assist senior technicians and engineers with equipment repair, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting. Work safely and professionally at commercial, industrial, data center, and construction job sites. Coordinate and communicate with General Contractors (GCs), subcontractors, engineers, and other job-site personnel . Complete service reports and accurately document maintenance and repair work. Travel to job sites throughout the United States as required. Follow company safety procedures and applicable industry standards. Qualifications Required High school diploma, GED, or higher. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States. Basic understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, or electrical systems. Basic ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment and electrical/control circuits. Ability to use basic electrical testing tools. Ability to perform hands-on field work safely and reliably. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Preferred 1+ year of hands-on HVAC, refrigeration, chiller, or equipment maintenance experience preferred; candidates with less experience may also be considered. Experience with industrial chillers or commercial HVAC systems . Experience maintaining air-cooled or water-cooled cooling systems . Experience with data center cooling systems . Experience repairing refrigeration or other mechanical cooling equipment. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and HVAC control systems. Familiarity with replacing components such as sensors, pumps, fans, and valves. Previous experience working with General Contractors (GCs) or on commercial construction sites. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills. Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin) and English is strongly preferred. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $25.00/hour
Overtime:
