This is not an entry-level position. We have an established customer base and a consistently busy schedule. We're looking for a technician who can properly diagnose HVAC systems, communicate findings and options to homeowners, perform repairs, and identify replacement opportunities when appropriate. We're looking for a technician—not a parts changer. Responsibilities Run residential service and diagnostic calls independently Troubleshoot AC, heat pumps, furnaces, mini-splits and package units Diagnose electrical, refrigeration and airflow issues Perform repairs and recommend appropriate solutions Properly use superheat/subcooling and other diagnostic methods Clearly explain findings, repair options and replacement options to customers Prepare estimates and document service calls Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle Provide professional customer service Requirements 3+ years residential HVAC service experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Strong electrical and refrigeration knowledge Experience with R-410A systems

experience is a plus Mini-split/inverter experience is a plus Comfortable using gauges, multimeter, micron gauge and diagnostic tools Able to work independently without constant supervision Strong customer communication skills Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record Professional appearance and attitude Who We're Looking For We want someone who can walk into a customer's home, find the actual problem, explain it clearly, provide honest options and get the job done correctly. You don't need to know everything—technical support is available when needed—but you should be capable of handling the majority of residential service calls independently. There is room for the right person to grow into a Senior Technician / Service Manager role as the company expands.
