In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all HVAC systems are installed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards. Your expertise in HVAC design, system troubleshooting, and mechanical systems will drive successful project completion while delivering exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to take on leadership responsibilities and advance their career in the HVAC industry. Duties Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects, including ductwork, equipment placement, and system integration. Interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and system configuration. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems to restore optimal operation. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to enhance efficiency and extend lifespan; include system inspections and preventative measures. Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations, maintenance procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including EPA standards for refrigerants, electrical codes, and building codes; maintain a safe work environment at all times. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in HVAC installation and mechanical systems repair. Service technician experience with hands-on knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents accurately. Mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical diagnostics, building automation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, testing devices such as ohmmeters, and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicle safely.
