In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, providing peace of mind to our clients. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct service calls for system malfunctions or property maintenance issues related to heating, cooling, plumbing, or refrigeration. Install new HVAC components or appliances following HVAC design specifications and schematics. Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair or replace equipment parts, weld components when necessary, and ensure optimal system performance. Assist with ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized equipment requiring advanced technical skills. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and communicate effectively with clients about repairs or system upgrades. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a background in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, or property maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience and the ability to read schematics and HVAC designs. Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, appliances, welding tools, and ohmmeters. Familiarity with field service operations involving air conditioning systems and ammonia refrigeration units. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for safe transportation between sites. Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently.
