This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex systems, and provide exceptional customer service. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality. Your technical skills and proactive approach will contribute to creating comfortable, safe environments for our clients. Duties Install new HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, ventilation fans, and building automation systems following schematics and design specifications Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical system troubleshooting to identify faults Repair or replace defective mechanical components such as compressors, fans, pumps, valves, and thermostats Conduct system inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations such as EPA certifications Utilize plumbing skills for refrigerant charging, drainage system repairs, and pipe fittings related to HVAC operations Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and building automation controls to efficiently troubleshoot issues Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs or system upgrades while providing excellent customer service Maintain detailed service logs, maintenance records, and incident reports for each job performed Qualifications Proven experience in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance within construction or service technician roles Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems and mechanical systems repair techniques Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC units Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, building automation systems, plumbing connections, and HVAC design principles Ability to operate hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and specialized HVAC diagnostic equipment Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and equipment troubleshooting procedures Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required Experience working with boilers and air conditioning units is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles safely Join us if you're passionate about delivering reliable climate control solutions!
