system repair Heat pump HVAC systems Air conditioning Full Job Description Job Overview Aloha Air Conditioning & Heating is a local, family-owned business proudly serving the South Bay since 2018. We specialize in both residential and light commercial HVAC systems, from small ductless mini splits to large rooftop package units. We are currently looking for a Lead HVAC Installer who can manage installs independently, troubleshoot and repair systems, and lead a team of techs in the field. You must be able to work independently and efficiently .
Job Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems including: Ductless mini splits (multi-zone and single-zone systems), central air conditioning & heating (split system, furnace, & coils), rooftop package units, heat pumps and zoning systems. Accurately diagnose electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and control board issues. Lead job sites and effectively work with other techs to ensure high quality work that is done on time. Conduct brazing, flaring, and refrigerant line installs with precision. Maintain job site cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and comply with local code. Communicate clearly with homeowners, contractors, other technicians, and staff. Conduct appliance repairs related to HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and tools. Qualifications 10+ years of hands on HVAC experience ( You MUST be able to work independently) Must speak English. Must be able to run complete system installations solo or with a small team in a fast-paced environment. Must have valid CA drivers license and own transportation. Must have own tools. Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a strong understanding of HVAC/R principles. Mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with refrigeration systems. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues effectively and independently. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
