In this energized role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating equipment, ventilation systems, refrigeration units. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards, delivering exceptional service and building lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units in residential homes. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan. Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC units to identify issues quickly. Repair or replace mechanical components such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, and thermostats to restore system functionality. Communicate effectively with customers to explain system issues, recommend solutions, and provide excellent customer service throughout every project. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and maintenance records. Operate hand tools safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols; utilize equipment such as refrigerant recovery machines and refrigerant gauges. Drive company truck responsibly to various job sites ensuring timely arrival for scheduled installations or repairs. Construction experience or background working on mechanical or building systems is highly preferred. Proven service technician experience with HVAC system repair, installation, or maintenance. Knowledge of plumbing principles related to HVAC applications enhances troubleshooting capabilities. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters or multimeters is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair or replace components in complex HVAC systems. Customer service skills that demonstrate professionalism and clear communication are vital for success in this role. EPA certification (Environmental Protection Agency) or equivalent refrigerant handling certification is required for handling refrigerants safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van or similar vehicle confidently.
