HVAC Installer - Independent Contractor (C-20 License Required) HVAC Alliance Expert is looking for experienced, licensed HVAC Installers / Independent Contractors to partner with us in California. We work with skilled HVAC professionals and contractor businesses to provide installation services across our growing service areas. This opportunity is ideal for established HVAC contractors looking to add a consistent source of installation jobs while maintaining the flexibility of independent contracting. What We Offer Consistent HVAC installation job opportunities Year-round workload based on customer demand and availability Flexibility to select your preferred service area Ability to manage your availability as an independent contractor Professional operational and customer support Long-term partnership opportunities Opportunity to expand your workload without independently sourcing every customer Requirements Active California C-20 - Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor License C-20 license must be current and in good standing with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) 3-5+ years of proven HVAC installation experience Strong experience with residential HVAC installations; commercial experience is a plus Experience with complete system installations and change-outs Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, ductwork, thermostatic controls, and related installation requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Own tools and equipment necessary to perform HVAC installation work Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to complete installations professionally and in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements Required business documentation, licenses, and insurance applicable to independent contractor operations Preferred Qualifications Experience with a wide range of HVAC systems and brands Residential and light commercial installation experience Strong troubleshooting and installation-quality control skills Ability to handle installation projects independently Established HVAC business or contractor operation Partnership Structure This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity and not a W-2 employment position .
