In this hands-on role, you will work alongside experienced senior technicians to learn the ins and outs of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You'll be responsible for performing basic maintenance, learning to diagnose and repair equipment, and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance & Inspections:

Perform foundational maintenance, filter changes, coil cleanings, and safety checks on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Diagnostic Assistance:

Learn to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to help troubleshoot and diagnose system issues under the guidance of senior techs.

Equipment Care & Repair:

Assist with basic component replacements, electrical checks (using multimeters/ohmmeters), and system repairs.

Installation Support:

Help install or upgrade HVAC systems, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and local code.

Logistics & Reporting:

Safely operate a company vehicle to transport tools and parts to job sites. Document daily activities clearly in digital service reports and communicate professionally with clients. What You Need to Bring (Requirements):

Experience:

Entry-level (0-1 year of field experience). Graduates from an accredited HVAC trade school or technical program are strongly preferred!

Core Technical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of mechanical concepts, electrical fundamentals, and HVAC/R principles.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Strong hands-on mechanical skills and comfort working with hand/power tools.

Certifications:

EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I/II or Universal) is required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Licensing:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Soft Skills:
