The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures customer comfort by providing high-quality service, technical expertise, and professional communication. Responsibilities The job duties below include, but are not limited to: Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems. Inspect and troubleshoot components such as compressors, thermostats, motors, fans, filters and ductwork Install new HVAC systems and components as needed Provide accurate assessments and recommend necessary repairs or replacement options Educate customers on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices Complete all required documentation, service tickets, and reports accurately Maintain tools, company vehicles, and equipment in proper working conditions Follow safety procedures and comply with all company, local, and state codes Deliver excellent customer service and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and safe working conditions Requirements High School Diploma or technical training preferred EPA Certification 2+ years of experience in HVAC Service, maintenance or installation preferred Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoor spaces) Excellent communication and customer service skills Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
