In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help create comfortable indoor environments while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including equipment setup, ductwork, piping, electrical wiring, and building automation systems to meet project specifications. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units such as filters, belts, motors, and controls to ensure reliable operation. Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools (including ohmmeters), and refrigeration knowledge. Troubleshoot mechanical systems including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment to identify root causes of malfunctions. Conduct comprehensive system inspections and testing to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, maintenance procedures, and system functionalities clearly. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, schematics documentation, and inventory logs for all equipment serviced or installed. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or service technician roles within HVAC or related mechanical systems fields. Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, electrical systems diagnostics, and plumbing integration. Hands-on experience with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) system repair and maintenance. Mechanical knowledge of air conditioning units and electrical systems. Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeters (including ohmmeters), pipe wrenches, and other diagnostic tools. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions for installation or repair tasks. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction.
