Job Description

Action AC is seeking an HVAC Residential New Construction technician to install heating and cooling systems in new homes across Southern California. You'll perform rough-in, set equipment, run refrigerant and condensate lines, start up systems, and verify performance to code and manufacturer specs. Work closely with builders and site supervisors, follow safety standards, read blueprints, and document work. Action AC offers steady year round work, paid training, and growth in a family owned, customer focused environment dedicated to quality, integrity, and teamwork. Responsibilities Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and related components in residential new construction projects Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job plans Run refrigerant and condensate lines and perform proper system evacuation and charging Complete electrical connections, start up, and test HVAC systems for safe, efficient operation Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized job site Communicate effectively with builders, site supervisors, and internal team members Document work performed and report issues or delays promptly Assist in training less experienced installers when needed Maintain company tools, vehicles, and materials in good condition Required Skills HVAC installation Residential new construction HVACReading blueprints and plans Ductwork fabrication and installation Refrigerant piping and charging Electrical connections for HVAC equipment System start-up and commissioning Mechanical and building codes (HVAC) Brazing and soldering Use of HVAC hand and power tools
