The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, HVAC systems, and mechanical maintenance, with experience in service technician roles and equipment repair. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including air conditioning and heat pump inverter systems. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units and related mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment, including refrigeration and appliance repair tasks. Conduct system diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify issues. Assist with plumbing connections and ensure proper integration of HVAC components with property infrastructure. Use welding and other mechanical skills to modify or repair equipment as needed. Troubleshoot system malfunctions in the field service environment to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used during installations or repairs. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Skills Proven experience in construction, HVAC systems, or property maintenance roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Experience in equipment repair, welding and general mechanical work. Knowledge of field service operations including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems. Ability to operate various tools and machinery related to HVAC installation and maintenance. Valid driver's license for travel between job sites.
