Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description Job Overview Ukiah Post Acute is a beautiful 54-bed skilled nursing facility in the heart of Ukiah, CA. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (PM
SHIFT, 2 PM - 10
30 PM) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients and nursing staff. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Maintain patient records using electronic health systems such as PointClickCare to ensure accurate documentation of care provided. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans tailored to individual needs. Support patients with disabilities by providing personalized care and assistance during their treatment. Ensure cleanliness and safety in patient environments by following infection control protocols.
REQUIRED
CURRENT
CNA LICENSE
Experience Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. Familiarity with critical care settings or outpatient services is advantageous. Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures is beneficial. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a relevant training program is required.
