About the Role As a Field HVAC Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a primary technical expert responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of climate control systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining indoor comfort by diagnosing complex mechanical issues and performing precise system commissioning for residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on diverse HVAC equipment to ensure peak operational efficiency. Oversee the successful commissioning and startup of newly installed heating and cooling systems to meet performance standards. Deliver exceptional client experiences by clearly communicating technical findings and providing professional recommendations for system improvements. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely emergency support and ensure continuous service coverage for our client base. Coordinate with internal team members to streamline project workflows and achieve high-quality installation and repair outcomes. Qualifications Required Skills Proven field experience in HVAC service, repair, and diagnostic troubleshooting. Current EPA Certification for refrigerant handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on professional customer communication. Capability to manage technical tasks independently while contributing to team objectives. Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC system architectures. Experience with modern building automation or smart thermostat integration. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics.
