This is not a "just fill the truck and figure it out" kind of role. We're looking for someone who can lead a crew, own the jobsite, communicate professionally with customers, and help set the standard for what great HVAC installation looks like. HVAC Lead Installer What You'll Do As our HVAC Lead Installer, you'll be responsible for leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish. You'll be the person your crew looks to for direction, problem-solving, and quality control. You'll handle: Leading furnace, AC, heat pump, ductwork, and system replacement installations Reading job scopes, layouts, and installation notes before starting work Managing helpers/apprentices on the jobsite Ensuring installs are clean, safe, code-compliant, and completed on schedule Communicating with customers in a professional and friendly way Troubleshooting installation challenges and making smart field decisions Keeping trucks, tools, materials, and jobsites organized Representing the company with pride on every project What Makes You a Great Fit You're probably the right person if you: Have strong residential HVAC installation experience Can confidently lead another installer or helper Care about craftsmanship, not shortcuts Know how to keep a job moving without chaos Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers Take ownership instead of making excuses Want to be part of a company that values quality, accountability, and growth Requirements Previous HVAC installation experience required Lead installer experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems Ability to install furnaces, air conditioners, coils, line sets, venting, and related components Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, and mechanical rooms EPA certification preferred NATE certification is a plus Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Why Work With Us At Tuscan Electric, Heating, & Plumbing, we're building a team of pros who want more than just another job.
