Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to spearhead our installation projects and lead a team of skilled technicians. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in HVAC design, schematics, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems will drive successful project execution from start to finish. Duties Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects, ensuring adherence to schematics, blueprints, and safety standards Supervise and mentor field service technicians during installation, repair, and maintenance tasks Interpret HVAC system schematics and technical drawings to accurately install complex systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration equipment Perform equipment repair and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure system integrity Oversee plumbing connections and refrigeration lines for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards Conduct quality control inspections throughout projects to guarantee proper operation and safety compliance Maintain detailed documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for client records and compliance purposes Requirements Proven experience in construction-related HVAC installation or service technician roles with leadership responsibilities Strong mechanical knowledge across HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately Hands-on experience with field service operations including troubleshooting using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters Skilled in welding, equipment repair, property maintenance, and ammonia refrigeration systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred Knowledge of HVAC/R codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations related to refrigerants such as ammonia Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while coordinating with clients and contractors Join our team as a Lead HVAC Installer where your mechanical expertise fuels innovative solutions!
