Diagnostic "no A/C" repairs, tune-ups _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Lead HVAC Install Technician Peak PHC is looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing Installation Department. We need someone with expertise in ductwork, piping, equipment installation, and low-voltage controls, who can interpret blueprints, coordinate with trades, and ensure code compliance. What You'll Do Interpret HVAC drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams to design and lay out systems, ductwork, and piping Generate accurate material take-offs and coordinate with procurement for timely delivery Install, modify, and repair HVAC, hydronic, and refrigeration systems; fabricate and install ductwork and piping (cutting, threading, brazing, soldering, pressing, grooving, gluing, expanding) Install furnaces, boilers, condensers, air handlers, fan coils, rooftop units, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, gas lines, venting, and humidification systems Install and connect thermostats, sensors, relays, and zone controls; program and troubleshoot control systems Perform pressure testing, leak detection, system flushing, evacuation, and refrigerant charging Collaborate with general contractors, engineers, inspectors, and other trades; provide project updates Ensure all work complies with codes and maintain accurate documentation Make field decisions on routing, system adjustments, and component selection Systems you'll work with include: furnaces & air handlers, boilers (gas & electric), heat pumps, A/C and refrigeration, split/ductless systems, rooftop and packaged units, ERV/HRV, humidification, radiant/baseboard/snowmelt systems, and low-voltage controls. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of relevant HVAC experience EPA Certification (preferred) Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred Must be 18+
Schedule:
7:00 a.m. start, 10-hour workdays (Mon-Thu, 4-day workweek). Slower seasons run ~35-40 hrs/week; peak season 40-60 hrs/week with approved overtime. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Lead HVAC Service Technician As a Lead HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems efficiently and in compliance with local codes and safety regulations — performing routine maintenance, responding to emergency calls, and delivering first-time fixes that keep our customers happy. What You'll Do Perform HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance per manufacturer specs and local codes Achieve a 90% first-time fix rate; respond to emergency calls within designated windows Perform scheduled maintenance and complete detailed service reports (work performed, materials used, customer interactions) Recommend system upgrades or improvements to boost performance and customer satisfaction Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and company vehicles in excellent working condition Deliver a 90%+ customer satisfaction rating through clear, professional communication Collaborate with dispatchers, service managers, and fellow technicians on scheduling Attend training and pursue relevant certifications Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays) Assist the plumbing department with basic tasks as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required (HVAC, plumbing, construction, or project coordination) Valid driver's license
