Job Description:

We are hiring an HVAC Technician who specializes in forced air heating, cooling, heat pumps and/or boilers. We're looking for candidates with 2 to 5+ years of experience working in Commercial and/or Residential HVAC applications. The HVAC Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems utilizing their knowledge of heat sources, and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, brazing, and mechanical layouts. Comfortable and knowledgeable troubleshooting boilers.

Responsibilities:

Operate company vehicles to travel to clients' sites and interact with clients as you inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC equipment and related components. Service a wide variety of clients in the Commercial and residential settings Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on air handling/fan coil units Confer with distributors and supply house representatives to acquire parts and equipment. Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction. Perform repairs, overhauls, Installation and start-ups of HVAC systems. Use a variety of hand tools, power tools and specialized equipment to perform duties. Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary. Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files. Keep current with all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair. Rotational On-Call duty. Keep vans and jobsites clean and organized.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 to 5+ years' experience in HVAC service work. Over 18 years of age.• High School diploma or GED.• Completed an Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education/training. Strong written and verbal English skills. Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing. Can successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical ensuring you can perform the duties of the job. Strong organizational and communication skills. Willingness to be a team player and possess leadership qualities. Furnace Troubleshooting, Install and Startup experience. RTU Troubleshooting, Install and Service experience. Split System AC and Heat Pump Install and Service experience.

$35.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
