In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a leader on the job site, you will coordinate with team members, communicate effectively with clients, and uphold our commitment to exceptional service. Your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and proactive attitude will drive success in delivering comfortable and safe environments for our customers. Duties Lead the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems with precision and adherence to schematics and design specifications Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems using electrical diagnostics, ohmmeters, welding tools, and mechanical expertise to resolve issues swiftly Interpret technical schematics and HVAC design documents to ensure accurate system setup and integration Perform routine installation on HVAC equipment, plumbing connections, electrical systems, and mechanical components to optimize performance Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs in the field while maintaining safety standards and proper documentation Ensure all work complies with EPA regulations and safety protocols while providing excellent customer service throughout each project Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools effectively to complete installations and repairs efficiently Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair Service technician experience in HVAC/R or related fields such as appliance repair or property maintenance Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, and building automation controls Hands-on experience with HVAC system troubleshooting including electrical systems, boilers, and mechanical components Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience using hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other specialized tools for equipment repair Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver standards preferred Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in electrical or refrigeration work are advantageous Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately while maintaining a focus on safety and quality Join us if you're ready to lead impactful projects in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a difference!
