Job Description

Job Overview:
Optimum Energy LLC is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Meriden, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal components for HVAC systems and other projects. Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install sheet metal components for HVAC systems, including ducts, vents, and hoods. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate custom parts. Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal parts using various tools and machinery. Perform measurements and ensure parts meet precise specifications. Assist in the installation and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and sealed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Work closely with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Inspect and repair existing sheet metal systems as required. Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, preferably in the HVAC industry. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Experience with HVAC system installation is a plus. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varied environments. Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with custom fabrication and installations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of welding techniques and use of welding equipment a plus
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
