You will leverage your technical expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to provide homeowners with clear, honest assessments and high-quality service solutions. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on residential furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units. Execute preventative maintenance visits to ensure peak system efficiency and longevity. Translate technical findings into easy-to-understand options for homeowners, empowering them to make informed decisions. Conduct precise electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to resolve complex system failures. Document all service activities accurately to maintain detailed records of system performance. Uphold high standards of professionalism while managing an assigned service vehicle and inventory. Deliver exceptional customer experiences by focusing on reliability and technical excellence. Qualifications Required Skills Active Connecticut S-2 Unlimited Heating, Piping & Cooling Journeyperson License. Current EPA Section 608 certification. Proven background in residential HVAC service, diagnostics, and airflow analysis. Strong proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly. Preferred Skills EPA Universal or NATE certification. Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field management software. Prior experience mentoring apprentices or junior team members. Demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to professional growth. Expertise in advanced heat-pump technology and modern control systems.
