One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is building its Greater Hartford operation and looking for hands-on HVAC professionals to join our installation team. You'll help homeowners replace and upgrade their heating and cooling systems, with professional tools, training, and room to grow. We welcome HVAC installers, installation technicians, service technicians with installation experience, and sheet-metal mechanics with HVAC experience. Relevant light-commercial installation and service/install crossover backgrounds are also worth a conversation. Your previous job title doesn't need to match ours. What you'll do Install and replace residential heating and air conditioning equipment, including furnaces, central air systems, heat pumps, and air handlers. Work with related ductwork, thermostats, and controls, and complete system startup, testing, and troubleshooting. You'll help ensure installations meet code, manufacturer requirements, and company standards. Keep job sites clean, communicate clearly with homeowners and teammates, and take pride in work that performs reliably. What we're looking for Hands-on experience installing or replacing HVAC equipment, solid mechanical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safe, quality work. Experience with residential systems is especially relevant, but we'll also consider related HVAC backgrounds that translate to residential installation. You don't need previous management or crew-lead experience. We're looking for a capable installer first, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as the business grows. What you'll receive Annual compensation of $85,000-$100,000, overtime opportunities, and performance incentives. The role includes a company truck and fuel card, uniforms, tools, and paid training and certification development.
