This is a full-time position for a technician who is confident working independently, leading jobs, troubleshooting complex system issues, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Our work is primarily residential and includes both existing homes and new construction. Key Responsibilities & Expectations Diagnose, service, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems Work with natural gas furnaces, boilers, central A/C systems, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits Troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, controls, airflow, venting, and system-performance issues Install and commission traditional split systems, heat pumps, and single- and multi-zone mini-split systems Lead service calls and installation projects from diagnosis through final testing and completion Perform preventative maintenance, system start-ups, and operational testing Accurately document findings, repairs, equipment information, and materials used Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and other technicians Provide field guidance to junior technicians when needed Maintain strong standards for safety, cleanliness, code compliance, and quality workmanship Overtime as needed during peak heating and cooling seasons Required Qualifications 10+ years of HVAC field experience Valid HVAC Journeyperson License specifically applicable to heating and cooling work Strong residential HVAC service and installation background Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Experience with natural gas furnaces and boilers Experience with central A/C systems, condensers, evaporator coils, and air handlers Experience with heat pumps and ductless mini-split systems Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills Experience with both existing residential systems and new construction preferred Position & Benefits Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week 401(k) with 25% company match Health insurance Consistent residential HVAC work Long-term opportunity with an established family-owned company We are looking for an experienced technician who takes ownership of their work, communicates well, and can confidently manage residential HVAC service and installation work from start to finish alongside a team or independently.
